I am feeling lazy so this is going to be a photo essay of some of my favourite things about the darling little town of St Ives in Cornwall. St Ives' main industry but that has been on a steady decline and now tourism is probably its biggest resource. It is blessed with four beaches. This was my third visit in 32 years and it was long overdue. St Ives is out of the way which adds to its charm - it is a five and a half hour train ride from London but let me tell you the train ride is spectacular. At St Erth you change to a small two carriage train that runs along the ocean. Outstanding! I can still hear the gulls screeching, feel the wind blowing on my face on Porthmoer Beach and smell that salty air....
So here we go,,,,I can just going to randomly select some of the things I love about this charmer of a town...
