This is going to be a very whiny post...I am having serious homesickness for London...for the past few years it seems I have always been heading over there at this time of year. Okay technically last year it was AFTER Christmas but bear with me here...it still had all the Christmas lights up. I'm not going to get to see the National Geographic photos of the year exhibition at the Natural History Museum this year...(sob!)no skating rinks.....it's been ELEVEN months since I've left London.. with no definite plans to return. I have hopes at this point and I can probably say with some certainty 2013 with see me returning but not for at least 8 or 9 months.
It has gotten to the point where when I am watching a movie/TV show that is set in London I blow it kisses and I say "I miss you...I love you".....Yeah yeah I know I am a saddo...what can I say. I fell I love with this city back in 1975 and the love just keeps on growing. Will I ever live there? Probably not. However my dream since my twenties has been to stay there for an extended amount of time. It will happen....
Anyway indulge me here and let me post some of my favourite Christmas photos that you may or may not have seen...enjoy!!
I hope you've enjoyed your trip to London at Christmas Time!!
